BOO!






This is the pumpkin that the little one [with Dad's help] carved this weekend. It's her first Jack o Lantern and I think she did a good job with it.

When we got the pumpkin on Saturday, we also got some 'tools' for carving. It's actually a packet and it comes with a booklet of patterns. The patterns are cute but the little one who always doodles didn't want to use any of the patterns so she came up with her own. Before we know, she was making a 'blueprint' [as she calls it] on the pumpkin.

The 'jack o lantern' is still sitting on a table in the kitchen. I don't know how long it takes before we should get rid of it but I'm thinking tomorrow. It's too hot here in our neck of the weeds, err...woods so it won't take long for it to rot I'm sure.
