For the first time since the new season started, we are feeling fall around here today. When the husband left for work this morning, it was in the 60s.

Yep, the temperature dipped as low as that. I heard that tomorrow will be even colder. The husband is of course thrilled to the bones because he's an Eskimo by heart, I think.
Right now it's already in the lower 80s but I can still feel the cool air that's probably trapped in the house. If I didn't have to work this morning I would have stayed outside to do some weeding. But work comes first so no weeding for me today...maybe when the weather is more predictable. By then, I would be able to work around schedule.
On a sad note, I've been following the ongoing happenings in the Philippines as a result of
typhoon Ondoy. When I posted about it on Monday, there were 140 casualties already. As expected, the death toll keeps on rising. As Wednesday it's up to 246 fatalities. I am hoping and praying that it stays at that but it's not looking good.
Please continue to pray for all my fellow Filipinos who are affected by this great tragedy.
