...already??? I was somehow surprised when I realized that half of 2009 is all now a memory. Yep, those six months are all now part of the past. I can't say it was a fruitful half year but I'm still thankful that we're still here surviving. Nothing much happened in the first half of the year. Work was, I think, the slowest in the 7 years that I've been a WAHM. No surprise there. Everyone is affected by this economic crisis we're in right now. I've also been blogging a lot less simply because I don't have much to blog about.

On the home front, the little one is not so little anymore. She can do a lot of things on her own now. She still calls Mommy [or Daddy] for some things but she can manage most of the time. I should be happy because I have more time to do some other things now...but I'm not...happy I mean. My 'baby' is no longer a baby. That's how it is so I should just let it happen, right? Sigh...

We slowly but surely working on the 'landscape' of the yard. We started planting some trees on the side of the property plus 3 other trees. I didn't know trees are worth a small fortune if you buy them around 10 ft or higher.The height of the trees make all the difference in the price....like by the hundred of dollars! Anyway, we don't need the big trees yet. The last 3 we bought were about 7 ft in height when we got them. Hopefully, they'll grow as much as the nursery said they should...

That's the first half of the year for us. I am hoping [and praying] the second half will be a lot better...especially on the work front. I can only hope...
