7 Things You [probably] Didn't Know about Me...a Tag!

Got tagged by Jona on this one. I've a few of these 'get to know me' tags in the past. I can't remember what I've posted on the others but...let me just put some random facts here about me.

Here we go...

1) I was a classroom teacher for about 15 years but I only worked for 2 schools. One in the Philippines and another in Taiwan. There's a gap though because I did private tutoring when I was finishing my MA in Educational Management.

2) I am a WAHhM [surprise!]...that is Work-At-Home-hot-Momma....LOL!

3) I never thought I'd relocate in the US. I didn't really like it here when I came for a potential teaching job in 1999 that's why I opted to go back to Taiwan to continue teaching there. But God [and LOVE?] had other plans for me. I came back here in 2001 to stay for good.

4) I am a mother of 1 but would have loved to be a mother of one more if am young enough to have another one... which I'm not.

5) Getting married was NEVER in my long term plans but I'm enjoying being married to my husband.

6) I've been here in the US for the last 7 years but I still have not attempted to learn to drive [a car].

7) I was 'requested' [more like 'forced'.. to me] by the school principal [who happened to be the Mother Superior as well of the school] to sing solo in a Parents' Day program in the Catholic school where I taught in Taiwan. It was supposed to be a tribute to my mother who passed on a couple of months prior to the Mother's Day [made into a Parents' Day] program.
